🌏 Navigating global instability, ecological destruction, and the collapse of systems with groundedness and purpose.

🌳 Disinvest from the individualist, capitalist, colonial systems of modernity and reconnect to collective ecosystems of reciprocal care and embodied resilience. 🌿

Hi, I’m Soren.

he/him/they/them

A smiling transgender person with glasses and tattoos holding a plush kawaii tree outdoors in sunlight.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been feeling the collective weight of the world’s pain for quite some time now. Maybe you haven’t always known that’s what it was, but deep down you’ve been searching and longing for something real, something deeper than the capitalist hellscape of the 9 to 5 drudgery, small talk, hustle and consumer culture all around you.

For a long time, maybe you just thought there was something wrong with you, but the reality is that our modern society is not set up for us to thrive and you don’t have to do this alone. I’m a counselor and coach with over a decade of experience holding space for people navigating complexity, and I’m here to walk alongside the courageous ones who are tired of the numbing and escaping, who want to face what’s ahead together as we collectively find our way towards what creatively wants to emerge next.

Let’s do this together, shall we? 💚

Collapse aware support through…

Deeply attuned listening & authentic relating

I offer my full presence, creating space for all of you to be here, now. All of you is welcome, even the darkest shadows. I listen deeply, from my heart. Together we create space to hold questions, curiosities, and paradoxes to support increasing the capacity to hold complexity.

Ecosomatic practices

Support to connect deeply to your inner and outer ecosystems, increase your sense of belonging to the land and more-than-human world, and expand your collective awareness. This is relational work, building the capacity to see and notice interconnectedness.

Creative exploration

There are so many ways to explore—through art, movement, writing, nature walks, reading, poetry, music, and more. Our practice is always emerging and growing in the present moment, and you are invited to try out many ways of relating and experimenting with different ways of being.

Who I work with

You’re in the right place if...

  • You’re a deep thinker, creative, nerd, healer, traveler, psychonaut, weirdo, free spirit, artist, and/or wild one who doesn’t fit nicely into any one box.

  • You’re overwhelmed by how F$#%KED up the world is and need a grounded presence to keep you steady and aligned with your values.

  • You’re burnt out, stressed, and not sure how to keep going as the world unravels.

  • You crave community but everywhere you go seems so divided and the fear of being cancelled or exiled has you walking on eggshells.

  • You’re walking a tightrope between nihilism, escapism, or whateverism and need support to find your inner compass again.

  • You’re isolated and lonely, longing for a deeper connection to yourself and others — but not quite sure how to go about it.

How I work

I work ecosomatically — which means we include the body, the ecosystem, and the collective field in our explorations. You don’t need to have experience with this; I’ll guide you at your pace. Sessions are:

  • Collapse-aware, anticapitalist, decolonial, non-pathologizing (you aren’t the problem, the systems are)

  • Relational, heart-centered, authentic, warm

  • Collaborative, co-creative, playful, and experimental

  • Held online

FAQ

  • We begin exactly where you are—right now. Typically I like to begin with a moment to slow down and support us to ground into the present moment. From there, we inquire, “what’s alive for you right now?”, and together we see what emerges from there. No pressure or agenda—I’m here to support you, and together we’ll find the path that feels right for you.

  • Common themes I support include:

    • Coping with the overwhelm of global instability and collapsing systems

    • Processing ecological grief

    • Feeling isolated, alienated, alone, and disconnected

    • Existential dread, lack of meaning/purpose

    • Going through a personal collapse that mirrors the collective one, which you may describe as burn out

    • Navigating shame, privilege, and accountability

    • Dealing with high-conflict relationships or difficult communication dynamics

    • Spiritual crisis, spiritual awakening, plant medicine integrations

    • Getting to know the land and more-than-human world around you, building right relationship to the land

    • Exploring spirituality and meaning

    • Exploring alternative relationship structures or navigating relational change

    • Seeking grounding and steadiness during a period of uncertainty or grief

    • Ready to gently unpack the impact of trauma or difficult experiences in a non-pathologizing, body-aware space

    • Ancestral and lineage exploration and healing

    • Shifting away from or unlearning individualism while stepping into more collective ways of being and interconnectedness

    • Untethering from internalized oppression

    • Support to slow down, breathe, and listen inward

    • Exploring values, envisioning steps towards a more values-aligned life and community

We move at your pace, and you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. If it’s heavy on your heart or hard to talk about elsewhere, we can start there.

  • I work best on a weekly basis, so would be a great fit for folks who align well with that cadence and would find that beneficial. Meeting weekly allows us to establish a strong connection, explore more deeply, and get into a natural rhythm that supports growth. If this is not possible, reach out to me and let’s talk about an alternative.
